The 28th Montreux Comedy Festival is from 30 November –4 December 2017.

In addition to the traditional (but never boring) Galas – a real trademark of the Festival – there’ll be another Gala 100% in English this year, as well as Montreux Web Studio and lots more! All the info is here.

The Galas are shows with lots of comedians. They are great for seeing the biggest names’ best sketches and for discovering new talent, all in one evening.

Yes! For the 27th Festival, Montreux Comedy has decided to sell several categories of ticket for the shows in the Stravinski Auditorium, to give you more choice. You can find all the prices and categories here.

All the Montreux Comedy Galas are recorded and some are shown live on TV. We prefer people to stay in their seats and to laugh out loud from beginning to end to ensure the recordings are fantastic.

No intervals are planned.

If you come by car, you can use the carparks in the town. Montreux also has excellent public transport links. Find out more under ‘General Information’.

It is possible to buy food on the Festival site, and there is a great space to get a drink before or after the show.

It is possible to pay by credit card on the Festival site, and there’s a cash machine at the 2m2c as well. Unfortunately we don't accept gold bars or fur coats as payment!

The building where the Festival is held has disabled access. To make sure your visit runs smoothly, we recommend that you get in touch with the box office a few days in advance to let us know you’re coming: billetterie@montreuxcomedy.com.

There are no age limits for Montreux Comedy, although Tutankhamun might be a bit lost. However, our shows aren’t recommended for under 14s. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Is the stage your calling? If you think you deserve a spot in the limelight, send an email to info@montreuxcomedy.com. However, Montreux Comedy receives a lot of applications and can only reply to those that are successful.
